Homework is set for all year groups on a regular basis as per the homework timetable. Tasks may consist of learning vocabulary, completing a reading or listening task, learning to say or write sentences off by heart or translating sentences written in class into English. Sometimes pupils are asked to be more creative: make a booklet or story, create a website or blog or design a brochure or leaflet.
Learning homeworks are to be taken very seriously. If a pupil does not achieve 75% on a vocabulary test, they will be required to re-sit the test the following day (usually during their lunch break). Failure to complete homework will always result in a 15 minute detention at lunch time. If a pupil has problems with their homework they must see their class teacher well before the homework is due in so that they may receive the necessary help.
